Worldwide Business Development (WWBD)

WWBD is responsible for securing compound licenses and commercial collaborations for Pfizer. The group’s focus is to in-license and acquire marketed drugs, clinical stage compounds, and preclinical compounds meeting Pfizer’s broad therapy area needs.

Strategic Alliances (SA)

Strategic Alliances evaluates, negotiates, and manages preclinical in-licensing and the full spectrum of technology and platform collaborations, including tools, targets, and leads for drug discovery, screening technologies, early development technologies (ADME-T), enabling clinical technologies, diagnostics, formulations, and chemistry from early phase through loss of exclusivity.
